To Christians in the middle ages, the ancient city of Jerusalem
was the most sacred place in the world.At its heart sat the Church
of the Holy Sepulchre. The site is the place where Jesus was
said to have risen to heaven. Each year, hundreds of Christians
made long hard journeys, known as pilgrimages, to reach this
sacred shine. This story is about the crusader battle and its history.
It was very interesting.
